Modern, easy and eternally wearable, Ally Capellino’s brand of English simplicity has worldwide appeal. Alison Lloyd – the designer behind the Ally Capellino label – graduated from Middlesex Polytechnic in fashion and textiles in 1978, and worked at the Courtauld Institute in London before forming her own company selling accessories, millinery and jewellery in 1979. She established the Ally Capellino label the following year. In addition to producing collections, being involved in Crafts Council projects and design consultancy work, Ally lectures at the Royal College of Art and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design _in London, passing on her expertise to stars of the future.
